Scene Study

Mondays (In-Person). 6:30-9:30 p.m.
Thursdays (Via Zoom), 6:30-9:30 p.m.

Taught by Caymichael Patten.

The foundation of building a solid acting technique, Scene Study is a must for actors wishing to deepen their connections to themselves and their scene partners. Students present their scene in its current stage of rehearsal each week and learn how to break down a scene organically, progress beat to beat through the given circumstances, and know what it is for the event of the scene to occur “for real for real.” Solidify your interpretation and put your thumb print on the part. For more information, visit the Scene Study page. To arrange an interview or audition, contact us.

Beginning Acting

Tuesdays (Via Zoom). 6-8:30 p.m.

Taught by Kieran Mulcare.

For those at the beginning of their acting training who seriously want to investigate entering the profession. Perfect for someone new or just coming back to the craft of acting. We will focus on repetition, a warm up, getting in touch exercises and simple scenes, leading to an approach to text.

Drill Class

Fridays (Via Zoom), 2-4:00 p.m.

Taught by Fred Waggoner.

To practice relaxation, getting in touch, sensory and repetition exercises. An excellent way for those returning to the profession to warm up and reconnect; crucial to the new actor to build a foundation.

Audiobook Narration

(To Be Scheduled)

Taught by Vivienne Leheny.

For actors interested in pursuing work as an audiobook narrator, as well as authors interested in narrating their own work. We’ll do a deep dive into shaping winning reads – the ones that persuade authors to hire you to narrate their audiobooks and compel audiences to listen.

The Audition Class

(To Be Scheduled)

Taught by Caymichael Patten.

This special seminar, developed by Caymichael Patten, is geared to students who are actively pursuing careers in theater, film and television. By audition or interview only. For more information, visit the Audition Class page. To arrange an interview, contact us.
